Playful Learning Made Easier for Families and Educators
Play Time Crate was created to help children learn through hands-on play while making preparation easier for the adults supporting them.
We now offer four ways to play and learn: educational subscription boxes, semester STEAM curriculum, music and movement classes, and paint parties.

What We Offer
Subscription Boxes
Monthly themed crates packed with hands-on STEM, art, literacy, and music projects for kids ages 3 to teen.
Semester STEAM Curriculum
Eighteen-week ready-to-teach programs for homeschool families, co-ops, charter schools, and classrooms.
Music & Movement Classes
In-person interactive classes in Janesville and Southern Wisconsin for babies through early elementary children.
Paint Parties
In-person and virtual painting experiences with pre-drawn canvases, guided instruction, and prepared kits.

Our Story
Play Time Crate was founded by Lo, a social worker with a background in child welfare and years of experience supporting children and families with special needs. She also holds multiple music teaching certifications and has spent years creating playful, developmentally appropriate learning experiences.
As a homeschooling mom, she understood how hard it can be to find meaningful activities that do not require hours of prep. She started Play Time Crate to make hands-on learning easier for families, co-ops, charter schools, and community groups.
Every product, class, and event is designed with the same goal: give children a chance to explore, create, and learn while giving adults the support they need to make it happen.
What We Believe
